OUR STORY

In 2014 The Training Collective was formed as a spin-off company out of multi-award winning company The Creative Collective, to focus solely on training. We are still ‘sister’ companies, and work closely together as we believe offering a service and sharing knowledge is a powerful combination for business success and that our offerings are symbiotic. We also share staff, premises and a continual exchange of knowledge in terms of what is the latest and greatest in technology and digital marketing trends. Some of our clients start with training (with The Training Collective), and then engage us for our services. Others start with services, and identify a need for training. Either way, we’re happy to help.

WHAT WE DO

We have extensive experience in the development and successful delivery of a wide range of online and offline training having completed numerous projects for Government agencies and other private clients. Indeed we have been training in online success topics since 2009, well before many others entered the market place.

Whether it is providing one staff member in training on a particular social network, or devising a year long program to up-skill your entire workforce, our extensive range of training solutions will help improve the digital skills of your team and ensure long term success.

The Training Collective has extensive experience in the development and delivering everything from one hour webinars to half day and full day training, through to 12 week online programs and year long professional development plans for large organisations.

We also have extensive online experience and demonstrated skills in the development of effective websites and online resource portals, developing system user-guides and customised procedures, as well as online and offline training in the use of new systems.

OUR CLIENTS

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT US

Yvette Adams, just want to pass on this message. I have been struggling to put all my social medias together […] my computer skills are minimal. The greatest resource however seems to be the members lounge, where everyone raises issues & the great input by mentors & members is fantastic. The Mentors are Brilliant! Thanks Training Collective!

“Being absolutely new to website design it provided a very good initial insight. I imagine I will have to take advantage of some repeat viewings.”

“Fantastic day going through all things social media. I am a 32 yo and feel confident with social media, but still learnt A LOT especially how to use social media to benefit your business or business unit. Great upbeat day at a nice pace with an energetic and engaging presenter. Highly recommend”

Participation in the program allowed me to raise my awareness of the many parts to the technological puzzle.

The course provides information to allow me to take control of my website and digital marketing. Prior to this, I was at the mercy of the people I was paying who would all too often provide what they wanted instead of what I’d asked for. AS a business owner, understanding new technologies is as important as understanding your accounts, because if you don’t you are vulnerable. You don’t have to do it yourself, but you need to have a basic understanding of what can be done, and this course provided me with that understanding. Read more

The program was very informative and really helped to improve my understanding of e commerce. I really did have a low level of technical knowledge. Yvette and Zoe were excellent presenters and it was great to be part of the Facebook group as well to have extra queries answered.

These guys are my go-to after meeting Yvette at an Australian Institute of Company Directors function. They are great at teaching the tech illiterate through to the well experienced. They also are my go-to for gift giving for friends and family – I have gifted Yvette’s book to all my friends with kids. They have a mix of passion and helpfulness that is rare in business.

A wealth of information has been shared – mind blowing stats for future social media, hard to get my head around reinforced our need to engage in one or several forms of social media, best of all, it was very easy listening. Thank you.

As much as I despise social media for its antisocial effects, I did experience a sense of inspiration for the future from the potential benefits Facebook business may contribute to tailored supply of goods and services. I thought it was great. Thanks Yvette and Amy!
