Why should I pay to tell you about our business? Can’t I just come and meet you for free?

We are more than happy to speak to you for 15-20 minutes about your business/project/requirements which you can book here. If you need more time with us than that, we deem this a consult and do charge for this service. We are professional consultants & trainers who have invested heavily into learning all we know so we can impart knowledge with you. We are offering an extremely valuable service that can seriously improve your business (you wouldn’t expect a free consult with your accountant or lawyer now would you?)

How do I book one of these sessions and when will the session be?

Simply enquire with us stating which of the above packages you are most interested in. We’ll raise you a quote to accept and thereafter an invoice along with some times the most relevant trainer consultant is available. Our availability is subject to your locations + agenda you wish to focus on + timing. At times our consultants and trainers are in high demand and sessions may be booked 2-4 weeks ahead of time. At other times, we may have someone available to meet with you within the week. We will always do our best to accommodate your timeframes where possible.

What are your COVID safety procedures?

We are taking a range of measures to ensure the safety of our clients and team. These include observing social distancing with reduced seating, being aware of training with distance and offering online solutions where relevant. The Creative Collective were contracted by DEEDI (Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation) in June 2010 to develop and deliver webinars for businesses across Queensland, the first time the Department had offered webinars. The Creative Collective have since successfully re-tendered four times since this time, the most recent being a series of four webinars on digital marketing topics which ran in May 2013 and a series of 6 webinars run in Small Business Week, July 2013.

Upwards of 5000 people participated in these webinars and we received a barrage of positive testimonials and exceptionally high satisfaction levels.

We worked with the Newcastle City Council to provide basic marketing and social media training to seniors groups in Newcastle. The outcome of the half day session was participants were introduced to websites, blogging, SEO, email marketing, social media and more so you can be seen and attract new members, show funders who they are!

Brimbank City Council is one of Australia’s largest metropolitan councils and aims to better connect with the community through digitisation and enhanced services. The event took place in Sunshine VIC.

Our founder Yvette Adams was contracted by Tableland Regional Council to attend their second ever Youth Forum along with two other leading Youth Motivational speakers of Australia to travel to Atherton in the Far North of Queensland to present at an evening community event as well as a keynote Youth Forum day event.

The agenda was to engage local youth and empower and develop their consciousness around their self-awareness of emotional intelligence, mental health and wellbeing, physical wellbeing and positive choices for their future. The outcome of the forum was to assist in the development of a strategic plan for youth on the Tablelands, and to ensure their ongoing participation and collaboration.

Sunshine Coast Council – Museums & Heritage

In February 2017, we delivered social media and marketing to employees of museums and heritage organisations on the Sunshine Coast, as part of the Sunshine Coast Council professional development program for this sector. The participants’ skills and experience with social media was varied, but everyone left with a better understanding of what social media is and how to utilise it for the benefit of their largely not for profit and volunteer based organisations including how to be efficient with coming up with and scheduling content.

In June 2020, we delivered bespoke social media training to the newly sworn in Councillors of the Sunshine Coast Council. 

This included developing custom slides which provided the Councillors, whose social media experience and expertise varied considerably, with real life examples on best practice in terms of their structure (profiles versus pages versus groups), how to amend their privacy and security settings, how to post on a page and tag others in, best practice in content development including always using an image or video, and ideally an authentic one they have taken, and the merits of communicating through social media, and monitoring the sentiment of local groups on key local issues.

Providing the training in person at two different locations on two different days in a half day format, the Councillors found the session interactive and practical.

Brisbane City Council

We worked with the Business Improvement Services Unit of Brisbane City Council to develop and deliver customised training on handling social media enquiries, complaints and getting the right language and tone.

This unit receives approximately 10% of all inbound social media enquiries for the Council which are generally of a highly technical and legislative nature. The team wanted input on their workflows for handling these enquiries, and how to achieve a faster response which is understandable, as they had a tendency to respond very formally, long-winded and with acronyms and language which was not understandable to the general public, who were often venting in an irrational and emotional way.

The outcome from the half day facilitated workshop, was that the team had received a thorough understanding of how to modify their responses moving forwards and an action plan of over 15 items to implement in the coming months.
