Calibre is a diversified professional services, construction and maintenance specialist turning knowledge into value across multiple industry sectors. For this session we trained a group of six MarComms generalists. All but one person had been exposed to digital marketing in various forms, but none of them professed to be experts. Though they had run digital campaigns previously, the Marketing/Communications team wanted to improve their general understanding and knowledge.
Settling on a half day format, we took a look at the company’s options for a specific upcoming digital marketing campaign, with more time spent on Facebook as a channel including Facebook Ads Manager.
The team re-engaged us around one month later for a one hour session to revisit Google Analytics and conversion tracking techniques taught in the original session. This included an orientation around the company’s GA account including:
- Audience menu + key sub menus
- Acquisition menu + key sub menus
- Behaviour menu + key sub menus
- Explain attribution + key sub menus
We also took the team through what conversion tracking is and how to set it up showing live examples.
The outcome was that the Marketing team now have a lot more knowledge for including digital marketing components in their campaigns, and knowing when to outsource for key aspects. The company have since engaged us for a website build for one of their partner brands XStrata Management.
