Why should I pay to tell you about our business? Can’t I just come and meet you for free?

We are more than happy to speak to you for 15-20 minutes about your business/project/requirements which you can book here. If you need more time with us than that, we deem this a consult and do charge for this service. We are professional consultants & trainers who have invested heavily into learning all we know so we can impart knowledge with you. We are offering an extremely valuable service that can seriously improve your business (you wouldn’t expect a free consult with your accountant or lawyer now would you?)

How do I book one of these sessions and when will the session be?

Simply enquire with us stating which of the above packages you are most interested in. We’ll raise you a quote to accept and thereafter an invoice along with some times the most relevant trainer consultant is available. Our availability is subject to your locations + agenda you wish to focus on + timing. At times our consultants and trainers are in high demand and sessions may be booked 2-4 weeks ahead of time. At other times, we may have someone available to meet with you within the week. We will always do our best to accommodate your timeframes where possible.

What are your COVID safety procedures?

We are taking a range of measures to ensure the safety of our clients and team. These include observing social distancing with reduced seating, being aware of training with distance and offering online solutions where relevant. Facebook Community Boost Program as part of Queensland Small Business Week

Facebook Community Boost Program

Having completed the Facebook Community Trainers program and being selected as one of eight official trainers for Facebook in Australia & New Zealand, Yvette pitched to Facebook Australia the opportunity to participate in Queensland Small Business Week. The Facebook Community Boost program aims to provide local businesses with the most up-to-date tools, insights, and best practices for achieving success on Facebook and Instagram and give participants the ability to learn directly from Facebook’s very own Community Trainers and walk away with the resources you need to grow your business. The Training Collective were contracted by Facebook Australia to deliver x5 half day workshops in regional towns in Queensland – Gladstone, Bundaberg, Cairns, Townsville and Toowoomba. Sessions were offered free to attend, but participants did have to register to secure their spot for one, two or all three modules we were delivering in each town. The topics and content shared at each location was informed by local regional partners (Chambers of Commerce, Councils, RDAs etc).

With just a four week project lead in time and just two weeks marketing lead time, The Training Collective successfully achieved over 450 registrations across the x5 events and saw 60% of those attend. Fox Head Australia
We’ve had loads of fun helping action sports brand Fox Head Australia, who are based in Melbourne but have a nationwide presence, with social media strategies and social media training. Their social networks are massive and keeping on top of them is a huge challenge.

Queensland Government
The Creative Collective were contracted by DEEDI (Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation) in June 2010 to develop and deliver webinars for businesses across Queensland, the first time the Department had offered webinars. The Creative Collective have since successfully retendered four times since this time, the most recent being a series of four webinars on digital marketing topics which ran in May 2013 and a series of 6 webinars run in Small Business Week, July 2013.

Upwards of 5000 people participated in these webinars and we received a barrage of positive testimonials and exceptionally high satisfaction levels.

Australian Tourism Data Warehouse
The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is a central content and distribution platform for the Australian tourism industry.

The Training Collective devised a training program for ATDW staff including a combination of half days and full day trainings offered internally at the ATDW offices in Brisbane including sessions on Social Media Strategy, Linkedin, Facebook and Content Strategy. We also assisted them with the development of a module on Managing Your Social Media Risk, which is now a part of their hugely popular eKit for tourism operators.

Sunshine Coast Destinations
As the peak industry body for tourism on the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast Destinations are charged with offering regular training opportunities to their valued members. The organisation approached us with a list of proposed workshops, and we worked with them to devise a year long program with a mixture of half day and full day workshops in both hands on BYO laptop style and seminar style, on a wide range of topics, specifically targeting the tourism industry. Drawing on our extensive pool of trainers we were able to provide various perspectives and expert knowledge on topics such as marketing plans, SEO, social media, local optimisation and more!
GJ Gardner
G.J. Gardner Homes are a well-known house builder. With a growing network of franchisees across Australia & New Zealand, we were called on to deliver essential social media training to all of their Queensland franchisees during an annual conference on Magnetic Island.
