Heather is a highly experienced trainer and one of 9 official Facebook Trainers for Facebook Australia & New Zealand. She is very popular as a trainer for both online and in person situations on a wide range of topics. She is based in Sydney & prepared to travel to deliver training across Sydney or further afield.

Kat Lees

Kat is the business partner of The Training Collective’s sister company The Creative Collective and is an experienced and well received trainer based on the Newcastle, who is also able to travel to and train Sydney based clients. Drawing on a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in design and communication from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Kat’s strengths lie in branding, graphic design and web development but she is an all rounder in all aspects of marketing given her extensive and varied background.  Katrina has advised on the marketing strategy for businesses across a broad range of industries and sectors including retail, fashion, manufacturing, printing, property investment, real estate, business coaching/consulting, accounting and financial services. She has also planned and executed on many digital marketing campaigns with some excellent results.

Gina Novoa

Gina is an experienced and enthusiastic marketing strategist. Since arriving in Australia in 2014 from Colombia, Gina has shown great determination and commitment in improving her marketing skills, studying an Advanced Diploma in Business and a Diploma of Marketing at Hunter TAFE in addition to having a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering,Marketing, Business & Project Management from her University in Columbia.

Whilst studying she has also held long term business development, events and marketing roles for well known organisations such as Visa and the Business Growth Centre and Lake Macquarie; as well as being a dedicated Marketing Manager for startups such as Eat Appy.

From 2018 she transitioned into working for some of Newcastle’s leading digital marketing agencies, and joined The Creative Collective in early 2020.

These roles have provided her with strong skills in online marketing, digital marketing strategy and brand management. She is especially well versed in SEO, Google Ads & Facebook Ads, and holds the official Google Ads Fundamentals + Google Ads Search Certification.

Proactive and driven, she has been recognised with a number of awards, and as such as regularly called on to run training, sharing her extensive expertise.

Erin Currey

Erin joined The Creative Collective team in January 2018, starting off as the first point of contact for many of our new enquiries in her role as s Project Support Officer. She expanded her skill set into understanding domain name renewals, hosting renewals and SSL purchases and then building on her experience with the Newcastle Jets Football Club as Show Caller and Events Intern; began to manage several social media accounts for our clients. In July 2019 she was promoted to an Account Manager role and has continued to develop her knowledge and skillset ever since.

She graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Communication majoring in Journalism and Public Relations in November 2016 and like many of our team, loves cocktails. She has interned & volunteered for many organisations in the Arts and Charity sectors and has a cute British Bulldog called Molly.

Arvind Sardar

Arvind started his career as a graphic designer and transitioned into web design when the internet was still young. Endlessly curious about how things work, he has well-rounded knowledge of modern web technologies needed to create sites that are beautiful, effective and achieves customer goals, making him an excellent trainer in all things web. As an expert WordPress and Drupal developer, Arvind always aspires to best practice, and is passionate about the performance and security of websites. If you get to train with Arvind, you’ll be accessing 30 years of design and marketing experience coupled with about 20 years of web building. After hours, Arvind relaxes with art, books, some physical activity (not too much) and experimenting with tech.

Bec Kennedy

Bec joined our team in 2015 and today divides her time across both The Training Collective as a Training Coordinator and Trainer, & it’s sister company The Creative Collective tasked with company administration such as accounts queries, & debt collection. As the first point of contact for The Training Collective, Bec helps clients to identify their training requirements, and to arrange the perfect trainer, location & agenda. This high paced role sees her regularly liaising with trainers in locations across Australia and New Zealand, and coordinating all aspects of the scheduled training (venue, catering, travel, tech equipment etc). Her main goal is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times. In her down time Bec loves spending time at the beach with her 3 children, drinking tea and attending music events.

Yvette Adams

Yvette Adams is a serial entrepreneur and a multi-award winning business woman including winning the ICT Woman of the Year at the iAwards in 2013 and the Commonwealth Bank Business Owner category at the Telstra Business Womens in Queensland in 2010.

She has started six businesses, the first a newspaper when she was just 17, and two of which she has since sold. She currently runs three businesses – The Creative Collective – a crowdfunding & digital marketing agency; The Training Collective – a digital skills training organisation, and awardshub.com – an online portal which helps people find business awards to enter.

In 2015 she was recognised for making a significant contribution to science and innovation in Queensland and included on the department’s Queensland Science and Innovation Champion Hall of Fame and in 2016 she was named as a Digital Champion by Queensland Government.

Yvette is a twice published author, and is regularly called on as a media commentator and keynote speaker, facilitator and MC for events all over Asia Pacific. Her most recent book was published in 2014 and is titled ‘No Kidding – Why Our Kids Know More About Us Than Technology and What We Need To Do About It’.
